Microwave for Agricultural Applications
Abstract – The climate in a tropical zone is suitable for growing agricultural products. However, the competition is extremely high and the customers demand quality control. Conventional agricultural product inspections relied on human expertise which is not consistent. Therefore, it is desirable to develop apparatus for quality control. Microwave is a potential technology suitable for this application and some apparatus have been developed. This talk overviews the microwave technology for agricultural applications.
